Heatwave (Picton Magazine)

This fashion editorial for Picton Magazine, set in Hackney, is a study in contrasts. The project was born from a desire to explore the neighborhood's unique blend of gritty urban textures and its vibrant, historical Caribbean roots. The creative challenge was to create a visual story that felt warm, welcoming, and alive with this rich cultural energy.

The art direction drew direct inspiration from the textures and colours reminiscent of the Caribbean. We paired a warm, saturated colour palette with textural, avant-garde fashion to create a joyful contrast against Hackney's industrial backdrops.
